Apparently, one of my Microsoft accounts has expired due to inactivity. Here’s what I received:

Dear Subscriber, This is a final reminder that your Microsoft Office Live Small Business account is considered inactive because you have not signed in to the account for over a year. On September 17th, 2010, your inactive account will be canceled and all associated data will no longer be available for use…

Wow, at least it didn’t read: Dear %First_Name%

Just a reminder to always review your copy… you can nearly always do better than this example when trying to retain customers.
