[RESULTS] Progress on Making Visa Obey

Here’s a follow up from my previous post on using the Visa Signature concierge service. I received an email today from my concierge Erik, less than 24 hours after making the initial request 🙂

I had asked for a list of kid-friendly things to do around the Washington D.C. area and to leave out the most obvious and well-heeled sites, you know, filed under: off the beaten path. Here’s the list!

  • Goddard Space Flight Visitor Center
  • Maryland Science Center
  • The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts
  • National Building Museum
  • Bull Run Festival of Lights and Winter Wonderland Holiday Village
  • Junie B. in Jingle Bells, Batman Smells!
  • Annie

Also included was a shortlist of other indoor activities:

  • The Avalon Theatre Weekend Family Matinees
  • Butterflies at the National Museum of Natural History
  • Fort Dupont Ice Arena
  • Port Discovery Children’s Museum
  • College Park Aviation Museum
  • Imagination Stage
  • Arlington Planetarium
  • Fort Myer Bowling Center
  • Cub Run Rec Center

I’d have to say I’m more than satisfied with this list! Out of all the suggestions, the National Building Museum and the Fort Dupont Ice Arena look like decent places to go. We ARE planning to see some of the big sites too, via the hop-on / hop-off trolley. Ding! Ding! ( Does it even go Ding? Stay Tuned! )
